George McDougall High School Announces 2025 Valedictorian

Airdrie, AB – April 17, 2025 — George McDougall High School is proud to announce that Hailey McDonough has been selected as the Valedictorian for the Graduating Class of 2025.

Hailey has distinguished herself as an exceptional student throughout her high school career, consistently achieving academic excellence across a wide range of subjects. Her dedication to learning and pursuit of knowledge has earned her the respect of both staff and peers.

Beyond the classroom, Hailey has demonstrated strong leadership through her involvement in student council, mentoring programs, and various school initiatives. She is also deeply committed to the Airdrie community, volunteering her time with local organizations and inspiring others through her compassion and drive to make a difference.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all of the outstanding students who applied for the role of valedictorian this year. The selection committee had the incredibly difficult task of choosing from a pool of talented, passionate, and highly accomplished candidates.
